JAI 117 Just add a colour combo

Hello there,
well welcome back for another Just Add Ink challenge. This week we have a colour combo for you and it was one I found challenging! Here's the colour combo.
And here is what I came up with

At the time I was making this I just couldn't get my head around the all yellow colour scheme and I just had to add the extra neutral accents. But I assure you others on the JAI DT have totally aced this challenge using only yellow!! If I had the time I would have another go round, not that I don't like this card - I do.

Anyway the key to this card was flowers, lots of flowers and lots of layers with buttons to finish them off. I had a bit of a play adding a scored border and accenting it with a daffodil line too.

So definitely a challenging colour combo for me! Why don't you give it a try and see how you go :)
Thanks for visiting,
Kim

  6. Kim, this turned out fabulous. I know what you mean - these two colours together were HARD. You know, every time I see you use this set and the floral hostess one (see I can't even remember it's name) it reminds me that I should try and at least use them once before they retire. You do such a great job with both of them.
