welcome to the Colour INKspiration 28 blog hop. If you are hopping your way around the blog hop, you will have arrived from Julia Quinn's blog. Wasn't her apron card adorable! If you are starting the hop here but would like to go to the start at the  Colour INKspiration challenge page over on Facebook, just click the link to be redirected and ask to join the group, that way you can load your projects directly to the Facebook group and join in the fun every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Here's the INKspiration picture. This time round the colours are Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum and Lemon Lime Twist.

Here's what I came up with. A magical forest with a multicolour unicorn!

Just Add Ink #397 'H'

Hello there,
I have been flat out at work but trying to squeeze in some stamping whenever I get a chance! This week the squeezing worked, and so I have something to show you for the new Just Add Ink challenge. This week Tina is asking us to Just Add 'H'. 'H'? That means the main element of your project has to be something starting with 'H'. You could use a hippo, hearts or a house, or a technique like heat embossing, as long as it starts with 'H'.

Here's what I came up with.

I always need birthday cards, so I decided Hip Hip Hooray and Happy Birthday were a good start, then paired the sentiments up with a bunch of cute animals, looking out the windows of a house! To create my house I die cut out a series of staggered windows and then stencilled in brick detail. My little animals I coloured in using alcohol markers. I thought my little elephant should be awake if he was saying something so I selectively inked him up omitting his original eyes so I could add in new ones.

The Just Add Ink team have a lots of fun 'H' projects to get you inspired so please drop by their blogs and then join in the challenge!

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
