Just Add Ink #394 Romance

Hello there,
welcome to a new challenge at Just Add Ink! This week we are all about love. Yes that's right this week Nikki is asking us to Just Add Romance. If you are a valentine maker or just want someone to know they are special then this is a great time to join in with the challenge.

My husband has recently discovered gardening so I wanted to bring some of that into this card for him. Lots of earthy texture and foliage.

I added even more texture to the Wood Texture DSP by dry embossing it with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, then topped it with mixed foliage textures using cardstock, vellum and glimmer paper. I used the SU! blends to add colour gradients to the sentiment banner and the vellum leaves. All simple touches that together give it lots of texture and depth. The Just Add Ink DT have a wonderfully diverse array of "Romance" projects so please go check them out and then join in the challenge!

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
