Just Add Ink #384 Inspiration

Hello there,
life continues to be busy here, but I made sure to set aside some time to get a project done (another Christmas card - I did warn you!) for the new Just Add Ink challenge. This week Jan wants us to Just Add Inspiration, and who wouldn't be inspired by these gorgeously coloured flowers! You can use the colours, the flowers or any other element of the picture to inspire your project!

I loved how these colours worked to make a bright non-traditional Christmas card.

Some tips: I used a now retired SU! stencil to create the background. Stencils are a fabulous way to create unique and fun background and quite user friendly to watercolouring as long as you are careful not to use too much water. Did you see how I framed the sentiment panel with vellum? It stands out doesn't it! With the return of SU! Blends alcohol markers changing the colour of vellum is now super easy.

The Just Add Ink DT have a gorgeous array of projects to WOW you so please go check them out and then join in the challenge!

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
