Just Add Ink #459 Colour

Hello there,
this week at Just Add Ink Rochelle has asked us to Just Add a Colour Combo. With freezing cold winds gusting around all week this week, it was a real pleasure to play with some bright springish colours and some new stamps!! Here are the colours.

I had to break out one of the beautiful floral clusters in Bloom and Grow for these colours. The cluster is actually designed with the flowers in a straight row but I knew I wanted mine to hug my sentiment circle. I'll show you how to do that below. First, here's how it all turned out.

Altering the alignment of your stamps is super easy with photopolymer stamps. Simply add a guide (the die cut circle) into your Stamparatus, then adhere your stamp to the cover. As you adhere it gently adjust the curvature of the stamps to match the circle (see below), then stamp away! There's only one catch, you will no longer be able to cut the cluster with the dies, so be prepared for some fussy cutting!

The other way to adapt your stamped image is to cut the floral cluster apart, which is what I did for my inside cluster as I wanted it to nestle into the corner. Simply cut along the stamped lines!

This card was all about the colouring, so I pulled out my blends (and a cup of tea) :) I finished off the card with a fresh woodgrain textured background and a little sheen of Wink of Stella on the flowers.

The Just Add Ink DT have a lots of stunning projects to show you so please go check them out and then come back and join in the challenge.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
