Just Add Ink #666 Inspiration

Hello there,

it's time for the new challenge from Just Add Ink and this week Jan has an inspiration challenge for us. It definitely has a winter vibe but you don't have to go with that theme. Just use the colours, objects or patterns from the inspiration picture below and feature them in your project.

I, however, did go with a wintery vibe. I took several elements from the inspiration picture - colours, the snowy tree background, lots of white to contrast with bright colours. 

This project was all about die cutting - lots and lots of trees - and ink blending to add pops of colour. I added texture in a couple of ways. First by dry embossing all the trees with a subtle texture and then by adding splatters to the ink blended elements.

Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Azure Afternoon

Ink: Melon Mambo, Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushell, Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories:  Wink of Stella, White gouache (not SU!), Blending brushes, 1 3/4" inch circle punch (R), Die cutting machine, Subtle embossing folder (R), Dimensionals, Tear and Tape, Multipurpose glue, Metallic sequins (R)
