Hello there,
well after a short unplanned break (too much to do and not enough time to do everything sums it up) I'm back this week. This week at Just Add Ink Rachael has a fun challenge for us. She wants us to Just Add the Eclipse Technique. There are many examples around the web of this fun technique, and now we'd love to see what you do!
Here's what I made, one for my Mum and one for my MIL.
Did you spot my 'MUM' camouflaged within the flower?
Once I'd coloured my flowers I cut the letters for MUM out, and stacked them onto of 4 white die cuts, to lift my word up and out of the flower. If you tilt the card to the side you can see the dimension of the letters. I glammed everything up with lots of embossing, some Wink of Stella sparkle and with sequins. The tilted frame (from the Swirly Frames stamp set available in June from SU!) was an impromptu addition and I love how it was just perfect to frame my flower.
This proved to be a really fun challenge for me, do go and check out the rest of the Just Add Ink DT for some stunning inspiration and then come and join in the fun!
Thanks for visiting,
Kim
