JAI 177 Just add a colour combo

Hello there,
well for a change we have survived the week germ free - a very pleasant change I can tell you! and probably for you too after weeks of hearing about them - lol! I had a lot of fun cracking out some new rubber for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge. This week we want you to add a colour combo - and it just lovely!
I had to take a small(ish) colour liberty as I had no DSP in Smokey Slate and I was determined to paper piece this fabulous dahlia with DSP so I dug through my stocks to find some in Basic Grey as a substitute. Here's the outcome.

More shabby chic my way and I loved doing every itsie bitsie detail - very therapeutic ;) It'll be hard to part with this one as I do love it so! I even broke open my artisan's kit from the previous seasonal catalogue to add the lace - it was worth over ruling my hoarding instincts to do so ;) OK enough gushing! Do go and check out the rest of the DT for some beautiful inspiration for using these colours and have a go yourself and join us.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
