Hello there,
well we survived the birthday festivities last weekend - the kids had a ball, and I enjoyed it too, even though my feet ached for hours after!! I was still totally knackered the day after so just as well I was able to get my card for this week's Just Add Ink challenge done ahead of time. This week we have an interesting (and good) colour challenge for you. Here are the colours.
I've had roses on the brain for a bit, as a dear friend of mine, Patrice Easton, also on the JAI DT has been producing some gorgeous rose cards. So blue roses it was going to be.Thanks for visiting,
Kim

Wow Kim this is such a beautiful card, those roses are sooo striking, and the colours are divine! It's sooooooooooo gorgeous!

Have a wonderful weekend,
SMiles Sharnee :)
Kim thanks for explaining how you used just one colour to get the different shades!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty card and it looks like you've put in a lot of work!
Great tip for the stamping Kim, they look devine! Your leaves in SS look wonderful too, would never have thought to do that! Love that you have done the inside too! xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of the challenge colours, Kim - very inventive! I love the wreath effect of the roses, around the sentiment panel.
ReplyDeleteOh this is so lovely Kim- I just love that flowers - it's really stunning! Great use of the challenge colours (I found them a bit tricky!)
