Just Add Ink #375 Sketch

Hello all,
I can't seem to stop using my stencils at the moment.  I am finding them so very versatile! This week I kept it very simple, just sponging some colour through. Our challenge at Just Add Ink this week is not about stencils though! This week we want you to Just Add a Sketch. This time from me! Here it is.

I ended up rotating the sketch as I had the idea of using an orchid bloom as the circle elements on the sketch.

I kept the feeling very clean, but added some subtle interest with the subtle stencilled pattern and by making the front two toned by adding a strip of ombre Pool Party cardstock on the right hand side. My orchid I watercolored a very bold purple! A little Wink of Stella and a little strip of silver glimmer add some shine to finish it all off.

Sketch challenges are always so versatile as you can use them for whatever type of card you need, so why don't you join us this week! Before you do make sure the check out the gorgeous projects from the rest of the team.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim

  1. So very pretty, Kim. This stamp set scares me, & I just know I wouldn't do it justice. Love the subtle stencilling contrasting with the bright bold of the flower. xx
