JAI #340 Gift Tags

Hello there,
well I've been away most of the last week for work and I thought there was no way I was going to get a project done for this week's Just Add Ink challenge. But I'm delighted to prove myself wrong! I can tell you this challenge is just perfect for this time of year and you will love the inspiration from the rest of the team for fabulous, fun, fast tags. Yes tags! This week Jan challenged us to Just add Gift Tags.

Here's what I came up with for a special friend I was having a pre Christmas lunch catch up with.

And now attached to a little package.

Curious what's inside? A little felty Christmas tree! (Another little hobby of mine.)

This challenge was just what I needed and my tag is going to serve as a prototype for embellishing several more Christmas gifts. Hope you can join us and show us your tags for all seasons - Christmas, birthday, whatever you need right now!

PS: I have to fess up that in my rush to make and deliver this I forgot to write in the tag - rolling eyes at myself - but it was kind of funny too.

Thanks for visiting,

Recipe: All SU! unless otherwise noted
Stamps: Foxy Friends, Christmas Pines, Merriest Wishes
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Scalloped Tag punch, Silver embossing powder, Silver foil, Silver glimmer paper, Silver and Blushing Bride sequins, 1/4" silver taffeta ribbon, Silver cord (R), Dimensionals, Tear and Tape

  1. I love it Kim - so gorgeous! I'm also giggling that you forgot to write on the tag. I did that with a card recently! At least they can regift it!!! Kelly x

  2. Such a fabulous tag Kim - I love all the layers of silver details and how the tree gives a heads up to the gorgeous felt tree inside! xo

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
