JAI 250 Just add Inspiration

Hello there,
its been well a crazy week here this week to say the least so this is going to be short and sweet. This week at Just Add Ink we have a great challenge for you from Trish. We want you to Just Add Inspiration. There are lots of great things in the picture to get you started!

The polka dots really grabbed me and I love the soft mix of tones so that is what I pulled from the inspiration picture. Creating the background was alot of fun - I used the SU! dot stencil and outlined each dot with a marker and then used an aquapainter to pick up ink from the ink pads to fill in the dots.

Don't forget to visit the rest of the DT to see some wonderful projects! Hope you can join us this week.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim

  3. I absolutely love the way you've coloured the dots, and how the ink has bled across the outline randomly. It looks very professional! So love that you too picked up on the gorgeous colours tucked under that cup - this card is SO lovely. xox
