JAI 239 Just add a colour combo

Hello there,
well my card this week scores for the something borrowed (thanks P :) ) and something blue categories but no the new Just Add Ink challenge is NOT what you might think. It is in fact to Just Add a Colour Combo, this week from Nikki. Here it is.

I've been working on Christmas projects and classes for the last few months so is it really any surprise that my mind turned to a Christmas card  - I thought the colours were perfectly suited to one with a bit more of a vintage feel.

It's so hard to capture the shimmer and shine straight on so I had to include a picture that does.

It's all pretty straightforward - but one point to note is that I got the two tones on the needles by inking up the stamp, stamping off then rock and rolling the ends only in the Lost Lagoon ink.

I know you'll find inspiring and very different projects from the DT using these lovely colours so do please check them out!

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Kim, I thought you card was lovely in the first photo, but in the second shot it is amazing. Your sparkle is perfect. Love it. I have been resisting the temptation to buy his stamp set, but may have to give in now.

  2. Exquisite use of the challenge colours, Kim. This is divine!

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
