JAI #307 Just add a colour combo

Hello there,
I'm delighted to say that this Saturday I get the chance to spend the day catching up with some special friends and getting the first look at the new annual SU! catalogue at the SU! OnStage event in Sydney. The crafty chatter will be non-stop this weekend :)

But I had to be sure to leave something here for you and the challenge at Just Add Ink , this week a colour challenge from Nikki, was perfect to make something rich and textured (well that's the way mine turned out ;). Here are the colour's.

As you can see I am really planning ahead here (although I will have to remember to give it to DH in September!). The colours were a perfect match to the Going Place suite so once the idea popped into my head I went with it. Being a masculine card I tried to add in a lot of texture (I was rather chuffed with how my mini star shaker turned out) and subtle bling. I just love that I can customise sentiments with the Alphabet Rotary stamp too :)

The design team have come up with a fabulous array of gorgeous cards so please do go check them out. Hope you can join us.

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Stunning male card Kim! I adore your stitched shaker element and love how you've customised the greeting to suit the family. Enjoy Onstage and catching up with friends too! xx

  2. Fabulous masculine card. I love that you've 'adjusted' the sentiment to fit your family. Great showcase of texture and stitching - you are a bit of a master at guy cards. Thanks for a fun filled weekend. xx

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
