JAI #292 Just add inspiration

Hello there,
well you can probably guess Christmas crafting is in full throttle here (when I can squeeze some in!) I will have to admit to not sending any Christmas card yet - eeek. But the good news is that I have another one to add to the stash courtesy of this weeks Just Add Ink challenge. This week Nikki has a great Christmas inspiration challenge for us. Here's the pic.

And here's what I made.

It's pretty clear what I pulled from the inspiration picture, the aqua/ silver colour scheme and I loved those diagonal stripes, but you needn't be as literal as me. It was fun though, taking the inspiration picture and putting it back together in my own way.

Hope you can join us this week. Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's inspired creations.

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Oh this is so pretty AND fun Kim! Your tree is so beautifully detailed and I love that there are sparking sequins both inside and out of the wonderful vellum shaker window. xx

  2. Fabulous colour choices Kim, love the design and silver details. Xx

  3. That tree is so pretty! It's funny how certain things stand out to people as I didn't even notice any diagonal lines!!!
I love this modern Christmas card :)

  4. Absolutely gorgeous! I love the subtle stripes and the blue combo you used. The sequin bling is the perfect finish! xx

  5. This is one gorgeous Chrismtas card Kim! I am loving all the details on your card and I always love how you finish off your cards inside!

  6. I love that this card is full of your signature little details, Kim, like the stitched shaker behind the striped vellum & all the lovely little silver touches. Beautiful.
    Hugs, D
PS. No Christmas cards here yet either :O
