Just Add Ink #736 Bling

Hello,
time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink. This week Lou has suggested that we all add 'a touch of bling' to our projects. You will always find some bling on my projects so not too much of a stretch for me but it's always fun to play sparkly things.

And one last one to show the bling added.

It's it has been quite a while since I've sat down to do some colouring so I decided to start with a smaller image. So I pulled out an old StampingBella stamp from my stash, put on a movie, pulled out my markers and got to work. All the bling, with the exception of Wink of Stella splatter in the background, is on my winged girl. I wanted her to be blinged up but also not overwhelmed by it. So I swiped her with Wink of Stella, added shimmery crystal effects on her wings and finished her off with a little ring of gems on her dress, and left it at that.

The Just Add Ink DT have lots of fabulous projects to show you so please go check them and then come back and join in the challenge.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim

Just Add Ink #734 Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome to 2025 on the blog!

The Just Add Ink team are kicking off the new year with our annual blog hop.

You may have come from Diane Barnes' blog, be starting the blog hop here on my blog, or you can go to Just Add Ink, and then follow the links at the end of each team members blog post on to the next. This year the theme is 'something new'.

I have two 'something new' products featured on my project - one is the flower stamp set I used (an acquisition to my crafting stash many years ago but never inked till now) and new arch dies which were the perfect base for my floral bouquet.

This was a labour of love and ink. So many layers, so many colours, and in the end I got a result that I was happy with. In the process I also rediscovered the joy of playing with both ink and colour.

Kerry Parkinson is next on the blog hop, so please go and check out her gorgeous project, and then the rest of the team. Then come back and join in the challenge we'd love to see what you made with something new.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
