Just Add Ink #642 Sketch

Hello there,
time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink and this week it is a sketch challenge from me! The sketch gives you lots of leeway to feature whatever you want as the focal. For me it was a teacup brimming with flowers. Here's the sketch.

And here's how my project turned out.

My starting point was 1) to use the striped tea cup stamp from Cup of Tea, and 2) to fill it with flowers using the new to me stamp set Petal Park. To add some extra depth to the flower colouring I used complementary blends to add some shading and deeper colour accents. The greenery was a mix of hand coloured and die cut. If you drop past often you know I love a splattered ombre blended background. To add some extra detail this time I also added a delicate die cut flower pattern over it.

The Just Add Ink team have lots of beautiful entries to show you, so please go check them out and then come back and join in the challenge.

Thanks for visiting,
Kim
